ArtChat With Laura
ArtChat is a series of virtual events bringing together up to five people at a time. (Limiting the number keeps our Zoom conversations more natural and spontaneous.) You may ask questions about the painting you select from this website, offer an interpretation of it, learn about Laura’s art-making process, or express your bewilderment over a piece out loud. How much or how little you know about art is irrelevant. The goal is to have fun, feel more connected and nourished, a little more capable of coping with our changed lives. You can do this with friends, so you’re welcome to “bring” them, but signing up is required. The Zoom link is sent only to those who register. Date and time TBA. Sign up for Laura’s newsletter to get the details in your inbox.

Laura is also open to hosting your group. If you miss hanging out with your buddies, ArtChat is something you can do together via Zoom. The small groups are conducive to interaction with each other. Email or call Laura if you’d like to talk about your own private virtual event.

Studio Spotlight

As a response to the current public health crisis, no Studio Spotlights will be scheduled for the near future. Consider ArtChat (described above) as a replacement for this group art experience.

Studio Spotlight is an informal private gathering for people who would enjoy an inside look at how a work of art comes to be. The program consists of a talk about a particular work’s origin and process, some time for Q & A, some gallery-browsing time, and refreshments. The program would last for 60 to 90 minutes. Weekdays are preferable, but other times  can be arranged if the schedule allows.

Studio Spotlight is for groups of four to ten people. Contact Laura to schedule your group or to ask questions.
