After a long winter hiatus and some high energy productivity, it’s time for another live event. Visit us on May 10 and 11, 2014, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, on my front porch at 1401 6th Avenue in Fort Worth. My friend Carol Spencer, music educator, joins me again to demonstrate her unique approach to music for little folks and grownups as well. No tickets required, just come on over and have some tea with us.
I’ll have my mixed media work available, along with a wide selection of handmade note cards. You can check out my Etsy shop (or previous pages on this site) to get a flavor of what my work is like. But I gotta tell ya, not everything I do is on Etsy. I’ve developed editions of several black and white hand-pulled prints that are framed and ready to hang; these are only available at my live events. There will be some new abstract work as well, and some interesting collaged landscapes you might like.
It’s going to be an enjoyable weekend, ’cause Front Porch isn’t the only thing happening in our neighborhood! It’s also time for the annual Fairmount Home Tour, which will feature six to ten vintage homes. Most of them have been lovingly restored, but sometimes there’s a work-in-progress home that is just as interesting. Click here for ticket and tour info. Can you think of anything better to do with your Mom on Mother’s Day weekend? I can’t!
